Hiring Process
All currently available nursing opportunities are posted to the Job Opportunities pages of our website. We welcome you to apply to any positions that interest you and for which you are qualified. Please be sure to attach your resume during the online application process. When the online application process is complete, you will receive an email to let you know your application has been received.
Once submitted, your resume will be reviewed by the appropriate recruiter. If your qualifications are found to be a good fit for an open position, you will be contacted by the recruiter for a prescreen phone call or with an invitation to come in for an interview. Our interview process typically includes meeting with both Human Resources and the Nurse Director. In some cases, you may also be invited back for a follow-up meeting with other staff on the unit and/or you may be invited to shadow/observe a Staff RN.
A minimum of two professional references are required, one from your current Manager/Director and the second from another person within the nursing leadership structure of one of your recent employers. Please be aware that a clear criminal background check is required for employment
at MGH.
If your interview process results in an offer of employment, the recruiter will provide salary and orientation details with your offer.
